Today is 14th June 2019 and it is almost the middle of a year. June is going to get over in 15 days and your exam is going to occur in January. So in short, if you are starting preparation today then you have only 6 months left in hand.
Though 6 months are pretty long duration to transform something/someone, but every long duration becomes short, if you don't know the proper utilisation of time. This page guides you by giving a rough idea of how to start preparation and how to progress further.
As a dropper, you already have a good knowledge of the class-11th and 12th syllabus. Have a look at the JEE/NEET syllabus first. Then follow the methods I am going to narrate below.
All the best, Prepare well.

- After viewing JEE/NEET syllabus, list out your strong and weak chapters. Be honest to yourself, if something is weak, don't worry as you are preparing to make the weakness strong.
- Many aspirants waste time in making a timetable and following it. Before making a timetable, take statistics for 7 days, observe yourself and then think about making a schedule. Change time table once in a three month, that will never let you get bored.
- Before jumping into preparation make yourself comfortable by looking into the pattern and previous year papers. If possible take a mock test. That will define your exact weak points and the exact places where you need to work and improve.
- Don't fall in the trap of peer pressure. Be your own peer. If you are 10 today then be 10.1 tomorrow but don't try to be 11 haphazardly. Learn every day, develop every day.
- Instead of asking everyone about the topics/subjects to start, please start from the basics, there are 2 chapters in physics, one chapter in mathematics, one chapter in chemistry which deals with basics. Complete them within a week.
- After the first week, you have two things in your hand, one is your timetable statistics and the other one is JEE?NEET basics. Now only one work is needed. If you want to modify the timetable then you should modify it now. Jump into serious preparation, the week was just a warm-up.
- Learn to ignore everyone who is not related to your preparation. Learn to sacrifice some things in life because today's sacrifice is tomorrow's investment.
- Also follow my blog, because different chapters require different strategies to master.
All the best, Prepare well.
